The weekend after Hurricane Beryl barreled his way across the Houston area, I was given the opportunity to participate in Houston's 48 Hour Film Festival as the editor of a film project. This was a project that I (Laura Edmundson) not I (Third Rate Productions) did, as the rules specifically state all participants be volunteers. It is a friendly competition, after all! We were lucky enough to be able participate at all due to the power outages, internet outages, and downed trees throughout our area.
Anyway, I thought this presented a good time to let the public know that, as a company, Third Rate Productions can offer its editing services to you. Sometimes as a business owner, you find yourself with a lot of videos or photos and you don't know exactly how to put them all together in a cohesive way. That's where we can help!
Third Rate Productions has the experience, software, and (let's face it) patience to go through all that backlog of materials and make a truly memorable promotional video for your business or non-profit. It's something I truly love to do. And it helps me get to know you a little better in the process.
Participating in events like the 48 Hour Film Festival is one way I am back to give back to the arts community that I love so much. I was honored to work alongside this talented group. Please enjoy the trailer I pieced together. We can release the full film at a later date.
